The team leader and, since January 2017, the person actively managing our mission and all we want to accomplish together. He is one of the best advertisement experts currently working in Angola, where he has been living for the past 10 years. With a career spanning 20 years, his portfolio includes managing roles in some of the top advertising agencies in the world. Having undertaken some of the most successful ad campaigns ever conceived in our market, he worked with brands such as Vodafone, Land Rover, Ford, Toyota, National Geographic and many others. He is the recipient of many international accolades like a Cannes Lion Awards, a New York Festival Award, 2 ADCE Awards, 5 Prisma Awards and many more. Before coming to ISENTA he led the Marketing Department of TV ZIMBO.
He has been with the agency since the beginning and represents our collective memory as a group of people who share the same vision. A meticulous journalist, he led seminal work on corporate communication projects, advising public institutions on sensitive issues. He holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the Independent University of Angola. He began his professional career in Cruzeiro do Sul newspaper and shortly afterward, he worked for weekly newspaper Novo Jornal. Before coming to Isenta to lead the Media Relations department, he freelanced for Austral Magazine while consulting with several other magazines and newspapers.
The man of a thousand talents is an economist working in Angola for the past 3 years. Before joining Isenta he was employed as senior finance supervisor for a major multinational manufacturing plant. With more than 25 years’ experience he has been managing our finances since the start of 2017. During his long career, he has dealt with productions lines, clothing factories, fishing expeditions, design teams and many other companies from very different business segments. This makes him a very versatile professional, one who is able and flexible enough to navigate our challenging business environment.
He has been a professional journalist since 1976 and has been secretary for the Cultural activities of the Angolan Writers’ Union and editor of the Lavra & Oficina Magazine. He was National Director of the National Book Institute between 1979 and 1981. He began his career in journalism at Angola National Radio and at that time he attended the Radio Broadcasting Course at Radio Berlin in East Germany. A member of the Angolan Literary Academy, he has published more than 12 books and edited hundreds of literary works of Writers’ Union members.
A national sailing champion, he holds a master’s degree in Industrial Design. A detail-oriented person, he worked as Chief Designer at Tornang, the only metal modeling company in Angola. He supervises our work’s artistic and technical quality and, having a special talent for balancing his creative drive and artistic integrity with the client’s demands and deadlines, he is our last line of defense when it comes to attention to detail. He also coordinates with suppliers such as graphic artists, photographers, illustrators and other professionals whenever there is work to be done.
He worked as a Graphic Designer at Nação Coragem, the biggest and longest-running public opinion campaign ever undertaken in Angola. After three years working with renowned photographers, filmmakers, and designers, he managed to build the skills to do important work on a series of cartoons depicting campaign messages. With talents ranging from filmmaking, music production and photography, he directed the first Angolan action short film screened at the first Amateur Film Festival in Angola 2006.
A born salesman, he started working in media from a very early age presenting a radio show for kids aged from 6 to 15. He later developed his skills selling water filters for a renowned Portuguese brand and completed his studies in 2016. He has been working at Isenta for the past 3 years and he is responsible for the commercial side of our projects.
The team’s youngest member studied Mass Media at Agostinho Neto University. A passionate soccer player, he attended the 2009 Coca-Cola Cup and was distinguished as the best player in the competition. He later represented the country at the African championship in South Africa. With a knack for publishing and broadcasting, he always harbored the desire to work in communication. While still at junior high, he led his school’s newspaper and with the help of other youngsters from IMEL, he excelled as a sound technician, a talent he uses to edit news pieces for training and evaluation purposes.
